Bartender

Hi, I'm A'DAM. With views over the IJ, I overlook Amsterdam Central Station and the rest of the city. A vertical city where music is the common thread: venues, dining, hospitality, and workspaces, all under one roof. On the 20th floor, you'll find Madam: a restaurant, sky bar, and nightclub all in one. During the day, guests gather for lunch or dinner while enjoying panoramic views of Amsterdam. But as the evening progresses, the atmosphere transforms. Tables make way for the dance floor, the DJ turns up the volume, and Madam by Night takes over. Until the early hours, guests come here to dance, drink, and celebrate.

What You'll Do
As a Bartender at Madam, you'll be working behind the bar on the 20th floor of the A'DAM Tower. You'll prepare cocktails, mix drinks, pour beers, and serve wine. You know the classics, help guests make their choices, and ensure every order is prepared and served to perfection. At the same time, you'll keep the bar clean, restock supplies, and maintain an organized workspace.
During the day, we welcome guests for lunch and drinks, while in the evening Madam transforms into a vibrant sky bar with a DJ. You effortlessly adapt to the different moments of the day, work closely with the service team, and stay organized when things get busy. From the first coffee of the day to the last cocktail of the evening.

What You Bring
You have experience working behind a bar, know how to craft great cocktails, and have a solid knowledge of different beverages. You're sociable, hospitable, and enjoy connecting with guests. You work accurately, stay calm when orders are coming in fast, and maintain quality even during busy periods. You take initiative, see what needs to be done, and help your colleagues whenever necessary. As Madam is open during both the day and evening, you are flexibly available for day and evening shifts, including weekends.

The Team
You'll become part of the Madam team, consisting of approximately 50 colleagues. During your shift, you'll work alongside other bartenders and regularly coordinate with the service team, duty managers, and the manager. While the service team looks after guests at the tables, you and your fellow bartenders make sure the drinks are prepared and ready to go. Whether it's lunch, after-work drinks, or dinner service, you'll work together to ensure that every service runs smoothly.
