When the sun goes down, the lights dim and the volume goes up. On Friday and Saturday nights, the skybar turns into the highest club in Amsterdam: Madam by Night. Our DJs play everything from disco to house, and the crowd is a mix of locals, night owls and visitors who can’t resist the view.
Your role
As a Bartender at Madam by Night, you’re right at the center of the evening. You prepare drinks with speed and precision, keep the bar organised and make sure guests feel welcome. Whether it’s a mixed drink, a beer or a glass of wine, you know what you’re serving and you serve it well.
You work closely with the runners and the floor team to keep the bar running smoothly, even when the night gets busy. You connect easily with guests, keep an eye on the flow and make sure no one waits longer than necessary. From the first drink to the last round, you’re the one who keeps the bar moving.
About Madam
Madam is a restaurant, skybar and nightclub in one. It sits just below the A’DAM Lookout, the rooftop observation deck where visitors take in the full city panorama and try the highest swing in Europe. During the day, Lookout visitors and other guests come to Madam for lunch or dinner, with a brasserie-style menu offering recognisable dishes that are fresh and high quality. Guests enjoy views in every direction, grab a drink at the skybar and often return later for Madam by Night.
What you’ll do

Who you are
You enjoy nightlife and feel comfortable working in a bar where a lot is happening. You keep overview, switch quickly and care about quality. Bar experience is a plus, but not required — if you’re eager to learn, we’ll teach you the job. You enjoy working as part of a team, stay friendly under pressure and are available in the evenings and nights, at least on Fridays or Saturdays.
